How to make a sound proof box (cheap alternatives?)? | |
Well basically I have to make a sound proof box for science the maximum dimensions are 50 x 50 x 50 centimeters it can be as heavy as long as I can carry it to school. Our class is testing it by putting a mobile phone inside and ringing the number so the mobile phone has to get the signal (it must say '1 missed call')
That's about it. I have thought about using fiberglass, carpet and cotton wool but I'm not sure if they will be effective?
Answers:
1Make a box of strong glass or reinforced cardboard. Put the mobile inside it and use a vacuum cleaner to suck the air out of the box. Make it airtight. Thats it.
