how would you soundproof a 35mm film cylinder container, that has 4 dry beans in it? | |
you cannot put anything inside of the cylinder it must only be outside of the cylinder? this is my 11 year old school project? we have tried water in a bowl and freezing it, but when you shake the container, you can still hear the beans.
any ideas?????

fill an empty 55-gallon drum with about 27 gallons of concrete. center the film cylinder in the drum atop the concrete, then proceed filling the drum to capacity.
if you kid isn't man enough to bring his drum to school even with a handtruck, i suppose you might be able to get away with using a few rolls of fiberglass insulation in lieu of concrete.
